Wikexa republishes openly licensed reference material from third-party sources. If you believe something we serve infringes your rights, this page explains how to tell us and what we will do.

The material the service returns is processed from public data releases by third parties — principally Wikimedia projects, whose text is licensed CC BY-SA 4.0 and whose structured facts are CC0. We do not author that material and we do not host user submissions.
Because the material originates upstream, a correction at the source is usually the fastest and most complete remedy: content removed or corrected at Wikipedia or Wikidata propagates to us automatically, normally within minutes of the edit. If your concern is that something is wrong or should not be published at all, editing or reporting it upstream fixes it everywhere, not just here.

We review notices promptly and, where a claim appears valid, remove or disable access to the material identified. We may also refer the matter upstream, since the same material is likely published there. We keep a record of notices received and action taken.
If material of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with the same contact details, identification of the material, and a statement under penalty of perjury to that effect. We terminate access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a takedown or counter-notice can carry liability for damages. Please do not use this process to remove material you simply disagree with; the accuracy of encyclopedia content is best raised with the source project.
